The CCNA or the Cisco Certified Network Associate is a certification that shows you know your way around Cisco routers and networking. This is Cisco Career certification’s second-level which main concern is to signify a foundation in a novice’s wisdom of networking. The CCNP or the Cisco Certified Network Professional is an evidence of having the utmost capability to work with networks which are medium-sized with technologies such as: broadband; Oos; VPNs; and features which are security-minded. It also validates the skills and knowledge needed to configure, install, and troubleshoot wide area and local networks with 100-500 nodes. It also allows network professionals to display the skills needed to run the switches and routers that shape the network core and applications that incorporate wireless, voice, and security in the network. The CNNP curriculum also involves constructing scalable Cisco networks, securing converged extensive area networks, multilayer switched networks, and strengthening converged networks. Basically, it has four modules which match up with the four exams. This is designed for those who are concerned and interested in pursuing their post- CCNA preparation to become the next network administrators, level 2 support and system engineers, and network technicians as well. The prerequisite in this course is the completion of the equivalents or the CNNA 1-4. The newest and the latest CNNP courses can actually be taken in any order depending upon the desire of the student.
